Cambodians Learn About Jesus
Assemblies of God missionaries Kelly and Cindi Robinette utilize Light for the Lost funds to amplify their evangelism ministry in Cambodia, where only about one percent of the population has even heard of Jesus.
Recently, LFTL helped the Robinettes translate and print Global University evangelism and discipleship materials into the Khmer language.
These resources are used in the Bible school to train Khmer ministers, and also to teach God’s Word to students in a school where the Robinettes serve.
“Every year [these materials] have led to many students from Buddhist background families accepting the Lord and following Him,” Kelly says. “Many times, students are the best evangelists among their classmates, and effective in taking the Good News back to their families as well.”
One such student is Theary, pictured here with Kelly and Cindi. She recently gave her life to Christ and is being discipled using the LFTL materials and Bibles.
The Robinettes also use LFTL to reach Buddhist families through Village Hope Centers located in rural, jungled areas. In Cambodia, discipleship materials are evangelistic because Buddhists often want to learn how to live like Jesus before making a decision to follow Him.
Thank you for partnering with Light for the Lost so we respond to more missionary requests for evangelism resources. You are making a tremendous difference!
